How my love for baby names turned into a career…
My entire life I’ve been nosy about baby names. I was the little girl marching up to strangers asking about their babies, offering my two cents at my mom’s in-home day care when pregnant parents showed up at pick-up time, and allotting my one-hour-a-day I was allowed on the computer to share my sage wisdom on the baby name section of Yahoo! Answers.
As I got older I started to hone-in on my interests. Specifically I loved the data and predictability with baby name trends. In middle school I rushed home after learning how to use Microsoft Excel and started inputting names and tracking how their popularity has ebbed and flowed over the years.
My love for the data behind the names and eye for pattern recognition has allowed me to help over 1,500 expecting parents find the perfect name for their little ones since 2022.
